In a regulatory filing dated March 27, 2025, DCM Shriram confirmed that the 12 TPD integrated compressed biogas plant has commenced commercial production. The plant, set up with an investment of Rs 131.30 crore, is positioned as a value addition to the sugar manufacturing process and aims to produce environmentally friendly renewable fuel. This initiative is expected to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, lower dependence on fossil fuels, and contribute to the company’s revenue while reinforcing its sustainability goals.
As of the latest data, DCM Shriram’s stock was trading at Rs 1,132.20, marking a gain of Rs 28.35 or 2.57%. The day’s range was between Rs 1,091.45 and Rs 1,143.85. The company’s market capitalization now stands at Rs 176.24 billion.
