Shares of Dalmia Bharat Sugar and Industries Ltd declined 2.14% to ₹360.70 on Wednesday, August 6, following a weak Q1FY26 performance. The stock slipped ₹7.90 from the previous close of ₹368.60, bringing the company’s market capitalization to ₹2,920 crore.
The sugar manufacturer reported a 29.89% year-on-year decline in net profit to ₹38.37 crore for the quarter ended June 2025, compared to ₹54.73 crore in the same quarter last year. Revenue from operations also declined 1.81% to ₹942.87 crore versus ₹960.26 crore YoY.

The poor earnings and contraction in margins appear to have weighed on investor sentiment, prompting the stock’s early dip in today’s trade.
