Shares of Container Corporation of India showed a flat opening on January 12, a day following the company’s announcement of an 8.25% year-on-year increase in Q3 EXIM volumes and a 1.25% YoY decline in domestic volumes. By 9:20 am, the stock had dipped into the red, trading at Rs 900, marking a 0.3% decrease.
At 9:46 am, the shares continued to trend downward, trading 1.22% lower at ₹891.80.
In a regulatory filing on January 11, Container Corporation of India (CONCOR) reported total volumes of 11,50,808 TEUs (twenty feet equivalent units) for the quarter ending December 2023, reflecting a 6.05% YoY increase. Within this, EXIM volumes exhibited growth, rising by 8.25% to 9,02,582 TEUs, while domestic volumes experienced a 1.25% YoY decline, reaching 2,48,226 TEUs.
