CONCOR stock to be in focus tomorrow as the company secured a significant order worth Rs. 690 crore for the manufacture and supply of 30 BLSS spine car rakes. The order has been awarded to M/s Braithwaite & Co. Ltd, a government-owned company under the Ministry of Railways. This deal will strengthen CONCOR’s logistics and transportation capabilities, further enhancing its service to the Indian rail sector.
The contract is valued at Rs. 689.76 crore ex-works, excluding freight charges and GST, with the entire order set to be completed by August 11, 2026. As per the company’s announcement, this transaction is not subject to the provisions of Related Party Transactions under SEBI (LODR) regulations, as both entities involved are public sector companies.
This new development is expected to bolster CONCOR’s position in the rail transport and logistics industry, improving overall efficiency and infrastructure. The collaboration between two public sector giants highlights the growing synergy in India’s rail-based logistics sector.
