Shares of Ceigall India Ltd gained more than 3% after the company announced the award of two Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contracts worth approximately ₹298 crore. The contracts have been awarded by Purvah Green Power Private Limited for a large-scale hybrid wind power project in Andhra Pradesh.
According to the company’s regulatory filing dated March 24, 2026, the contracts relate to comprehensive construction work for a 300.3 MW hybrid wind energy project. The work orders, issued on March 23, 2026, include end-to-end execution on a turnkey basis, covering supply, transportation, erection, and civil works for a 220 kV transmission line.
The project scope also involves the development of infrastructure for 91 wind turbine generators (WTGs). This includes construction, testing, and completion of WTG foundations, along with access roads and internal pathways required for the smooth functioning of the wind power facility. The entire project is expected to be completed within a 10-month timeline.
Out of the total contract value, one work order is priced at ₹119.96 crore, while the second stands at ₹177.93 crore, both inclusive of GST. The company clarified that these contracts have been awarded by a domestic entity and do not fall under related party transactions involving its promoters or group companies.
