Shares of Bondada Engineering were locked in the 5% upper circuit at Rs 3684.45 per share on intraday day on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday.

On Monday (August 26), the company received a contract of ₹576 crore for solar power projects in Maharashtra districts under the PM-KUSUM scheme, leading to a share price increase.

The firm got Letters of Award from Lumina Clean Energy Private Ltd, Purelight Energy Private Ltd, and VVKR Photovoltaics Energy Private Ltd, all of which are special purpose vehicles formed by PPA owners Paradigm IT Technologies Pvt Ltd and Metalcraft Forming Industries Pvt Ltd.

The project also involves the installation of an 11-kV  line to connect the plants to the concerned substations, as well as a Remote Monitoring System (RMS) for the solar power plants.
