BLS International shares surged more than 3% in morning trade after the company announced it has secured a major work order worth approximately ₹2,055.35 crore from the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), New Delhi. The update was shared with stock exchanges on August 25, 2025, in line with SEBI disclosure requirements.

Under the contract, BLS International will serve as the service provider for establishing and running district-level Aadhaar Seva Kendras (ASKs) across India. These centers will manage appointment-based and walk-in Aadhaar enrolments, updates, and other related services.

The project is set to be executed over six years and involves large-scale outsourcing of public service delivery. The total contract value of ₹2,055.35 crore is inclusive of all duties and taxes.

The company also confirmed that there is no promoter or related party interest in UIDAI, ensuring the deal does not qualify as a related-party transaction.

BLS International shares were up 2.16% at ₹376.75 apiece around 9.23 am. It has declined 22.23% this year, so far.
