Birlasoft shares dropped more than 4% in morning trade after the company reported poor Q2 FY25 Results.

The company has announced its financial results for the second quarter of FY25, which indicate steady revenue growth but a decrease in profitability over the previous quarter. In Q2 FY25, the company’s revenue from operations was ₹1,368.2 crore, up 3.1% from ₹1,327.4 crore in the previous quarter.

However, profit after tax (PAT) decreased by 15.1% to ₹127.5 crore in Q2 FY25, down from ₹150.2 crore in the previous quarter. The decrease in PAT was mostly caused by higher expenses during the period.

The company’s EBITDA for the quarter was ₹165.3 crore, with a 12.1% margin.

As of 9:24 am, Birlasoft shares were trading 4.44% lower at Rs 574.30 on the NSE.
