Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) shares are likely to stay in focus after the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) transferred multiple high-end defence technologies to the company during SAMANVAY 2025 — an industry synergy meet organised by DRDO’s Electronics and Communication Systems (ECS) Cluster in Bengaluru.

At the event’s inaugural session on October 29, DRDO handed over 12 Licensing Agreements for Transfer of Technology (LATOTs) covering eight cutting-edge defence products to several industry partners. BEL emerged as one of the major beneficiaries of this technology transfer.

Among the key technologies handed over to BEL are:

  • D-29 Electronic Warfare Suite from the Combat Aircraft System Development and Integration Centre (CASDIC), Bengaluru.

  • NATSAT-Handheld & NATSAT-Mini Terminals from the Defence Laboratory, Jodhpur, to BEL’s Panchkula unit.

  • Sarang Electronic Support Measure System (SAMUDRIKA) and DOLPHIN-II systems from the Defence Electronics Research Laboratory (DLRL), Hyderabad, to BEL Bengaluru.

  • Laser Beam Rider Guidance System with Eye-safe Laser Range Finder and Athermal Laser Target Designator from the Instruments Research & Development Establishment (IRDE), Dehradun, to BEL Pune.
