Bharat Electronics shares jumped more than 3% in morning trade after the company received new orders worth over Rs 500 crores. With these orders, BEL has orders worth Rs 7,689 crore for the current fiscal year.
The orders include upgrades for gun systems, spares for different radar systems, EMI shelters and annual maintenance contracts (AMC) for Integrated Air Command and Control system nodes. Electronic warfare and communication system supply and maintenance are also covered by the contracts. These important orders demonstrate BEL’s ongoing expansion in providing cutting-edge services and technology to India’s defence sector.
As of 10:37 am, Bharat Electronics shares were trading 2.90% higher at Rs 275.10 on the NSE.
