Shares of Bharat Electronics surged over 8% after impressive Q4 results announcement. The shares were trading 8.10% higher at ₹279.75 on NSE.

The company reported 30% jump in its consolidated net profit at Rs 1,797 crore for the quarter ended 31 March, 2024. The company had reported a net profit of Rs 1,382 crore in the year-ago period. Revenue jumped 32 percent to Rs 8,564 crore from Rs 6,479 crore in the same quarter last fiscal.

The board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 0.80 per share for the financial year 2023-24 subject to approval by the shareholders. BEL achieved a turnover of Rs 8,335.01 crore during the March quarter.
