Shares of Bayer CropScience surged more than 9% in morning trade following the announcement of robust financial results for the fourth quarter of the financial year 2024-25. As of 9:16 AM, the shares were trading 8.60% higher at Rs 5,572.30.
The company reported a year-on-year consolidated revenue increase of 32.1%, reaching ₹1,046 crore compared to ₹792 crore in the same period last year. The company’s operating performance also saw significant improvement, with EBITDA rising by 75.4% to ₹170.8 crore, up from ₹97.4 crore a year ago. The EBITDA margin improved to 16.3%, compared to 12.3% in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, indicating better cost management and operational efficiency.
Net profit for the quarter stood at ₹143.3 crore, marking a 49.3% increase from ₹96 crore recorded in the fourth quarter of FY24.
