Shares of Axiscades Technologies Limited surged nearly 5% on Tuesday, September 2, to trade at ₹1,320 on the BSE, after the company announced its foray into the aircraft cabin interiors segment, strengthening its aerospace growth strategy.

The Bengaluru-headquartered engineering solutions provider has secured pilot orders worth $1.2 million from a global aerospace OEM and a leading aircraft cabin interior company in Europe and the US. These orders cover design, development, and retrofit solutions, expanding the company’s aerospace services beyond aero-structures into interiors.

According to the management, Axiscades will now deliver end-to-end engineering services in cabin design, seating systems, electrical wiring, retrofit solutions, and technical documentation. K.P. Mohanakrishnan, Dy CEO & President – Aerospace, said the development validates the firm’s world-class capabilities and is aligned with its focus on high-value, long-term growth opportunities in aviation.

The company highlighted that rising demand for modernization and passenger-centric cabin upgrades could make interiors a key revenue driver in the future. With existing design signatory approvals, this new vertical is expected to position Axiscades strongly in the global cabin interior solutions market.

Axiscades employs more than 3,000 professionals across 17 global locations, serving sectors including aerospace, defence, energy, and heavy engineering.
