Shares of Apcotex Industries Ltd rose over 4% in early morning trade on Friday after the company reported its Q3 FY26 financial results, which showed a sharp year-on-year improvement in profitability despite a decline in revenue.
For the December quarter, Apcotex Industries posted a net profit of ₹22.2 crore, marking a 91.4% increase compared with ₹11.6 crore in the same period last year. The strong growth in profit came even as revenue declined by 6.7% year-on-year to ₹331 crore from ₹355 crore, indicating pressure on topline performance during the quarter.
Operating performance improved notably. EBITDA rose 60.9% year-on-year to ₹43.5 crore, compared with ₹27 crore in Q3 FY25. As a result, the EBITDA margin expanded to 13.1% from 7.6% a year ago, reflecting better cost management and operating efficiencies.
