Afcons Infrastructure saw a 5% jump in its shares after securing the Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Co. Ltd for the Bhopal Metro Rail Project. The ₹1006.74 crore (excluding GST) Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract covers Package BH-05 of the Blue Line, spanning 12.915 km from Bhadbhada Chauraha to Ratnagiri Tiraha.
The project includes the design and construction of an elevated viaduct and 13 metro stations, along with connectivity to the metro depot. With a completion timeline of 36 months, Afcons’ renowned expertise promises timely delivery, enhancing Bhopal’s urban mobility. This win highlights the company’s leadership in metro infrastructure and reinforces its growth trajectory.
