Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd (APSEZ) reported impressive growth in cargo volumes for October 2023, achieving a substantial year-on-year increase of 48 percent.

During the month, the company successfully handled a total of 37 million metric tonnes (MMT) of cargo, marking a significant milestone for APSEZ.

This remarkable achievement signifies the first time that APSEZ’s portfolio of ports in India has surpassed the 35-MMT mark, reflecting a noteworthy 43 percent year-on-year growth.

Additionally, APSEZ’s Haifa Port in Israel demonstrated robust performance by handling over 1.1 MMT of cargo in October, slightly outperforming its average cargo volume over the previous six months.

As of 1:17 pm, APSEZ shares continued their upward trajectory, trading 2.53 percent higher at ₹793.90, underscoring investor confidence in the company’s ability to consistently deliver strong results in the competitive cargo handling industry.
