Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ) shares gained 2% following robust Q2 results, with net profit surging 40% year-on-year to Rs 2,445 crore, up from Rs 1,748 crore in the same quarter last year.

The Adani Group company’s revenue from operations increased by 6% to Rs 7,067 crore in Q2 FY25, compared to Rs 6,646 crore in Q2 FY24.

Key performance highlights include a 13% YoY growth in operating revenue to Rs 14,627 crore, driven by an 11% increase in ports revenue to Rs 12,824 crore and a 17% rise in logistics revenue to Rs 1,159 crore. EBITDA (excluding forex impact) also grew 21% YoY, reaching Rs 9,217 crore.

As of 11:25 am, Adani Ports shares were trading 2.81% higher at Rs 1,411.30 on the NSE.
