Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) shares gained more than 2% in early trading following the release of its September quarter (Q2FY26) earnings, which reflected healthy growth in profitability and operational efficiency.
In the second quarter of FY26, the renewable energy major reported a consolidated net profit of ₹644 crore, marking a 25% year-on-year (YoY) increase compared to ₹515 crore in the same period last year.
The company’s revenue remained nearly flat at ₹3,008 crore, versus ₹3,005 crore in Q2FY25. However, EBITDA surged 17.4% to ₹2,603 crore from ₹2,217 crore, highlighting improved operating performance.
Adani Green’s EBITDA margin expanded sharply to 86.5%, up from 73.8% last year, driven by better asset utilization and cost optimization.
