Adani Enterprises’ shares saw a 2% jump after its subsidiary, Adani Defence Systems and Technologies Limited (ADSTL), signed a deal to acquire an 85.8% stake in Air Works India (Engineering) Pvt. Ltd (AWIEPL) for ₹400 crore.

The shares opened at ₹2,355.20, with a high of ₹2,406.00 and a low of ₹2,340.00 on the latest trading session. Over the past 52 weeks, the stock has reached a high of ₹3,743.90 and a low of ₹2,025.00

This acquisition will strengthen ADSTL’s footprint in the aerospace and defence sector, as AWIEPL is a prominent player in aviation maintenance and repair services.

As of 10:44 am, Adani Enterprises shares were trading 2.57% higher at Rs 2,398.95 on the NSE.
