Mumbai, July 3 : The Rupee on Monday gained 12 paise to close at 81.91 on selling US Dollar by bankers and importers, dealers at the Foreign Exchange said.
The local unit that shot up 25 paise at 81.82 in opening trade later it was declined but ended in positive only at 81.97, up 12 paise as compared to its previous close.
The Rupee recorded intra days high and low at 81.78 and 82.06 respectively, dealer added.
