Ahead of the Union Budget 2025, Madhya Pradesh Congress President Jitendra Jitu Patwari voiced strong criticism of the current economic situation, highlighting concerns over rising national debt, inflation, and widening economic inequality under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.
“The country is in debt of ₹270 lakh crore. The situation is getting worse day by day, and inflation is increasing,” Patwari stated. He expressed concern that the poor are becoming poorer while the rich continue to grow richer, pointing to what he describes as deepening economic disparities across the nation.
Patwari also criticized the government’s previous budgets, saying, “Even before this, whenever Modi ji has brought the budget, the country has been disappointed.”
