Mr. Sanjay Dighe, CEO and Whole-Time Director of Krystal Integrated Service Ltd, has outlined key expectations from the Union Budget 2025, emphasizing the role of the facility management sector in India’s urban and environmental landscape.

“With the upcoming Union Budget, we are optimistic about policies that will drive growth and innovation in facility management—a vital component of India’s urban infrastructure. Measures promoting energy-efficient building solutions and smart technology adoption can accelerate India’s sustainability goals and enhance operational efficiency,” Dighe stated.

He advocated for skilling incentives in green building management and smart facility technologies to bridge industry skill gaps and generate employment opportunities. Dighe also called for streamlining GST for facility management services and tax benefits for eco-friendly practices, enabling businesses to deliver greater value.

“Transitioning taxation for manpower services from billing to receipt-based systems will improve cash flow, benefiting service-oriented businesses,” he added.

Dighe stressed that a budget addressing these priorities can position India as a global leader in sustainable facility management. The sector is keenly anticipating measures to enhance operational efficiency and sustainability in urban infrastructure.
