One of the key announcements was the addition of 75,000 new medical seats over the next five years, addressing the growing demand for healthcare professionals in the country. Furthermore, the establishment of AI research centers and Atal Tinkering Labs in government schools highlights the government’s focus on equipping students with future-ready skills in emerging technologies.

In addition to educational infrastructure, personal tax reforms and the removal of TCS (Tax Collected at Source) on remittances for education purposes were also announced. Kaushik emphasized the importance of these financial reforms, stating, “Personal tax reforms and removal of TCS for remittance on education purposes will help parents to save for their children’s education by investing prudently.” This move is expected to ease the financial burden on families, making higher education more accessible and affordable.

Overall, these reforms reflect a comprehensive strategy to empower India’s youth, promote digital literacy, and build a strong foundation for the country’s future workforce.
