Kotak Mahindra Bank in an exchange filing on late Friday evening said that the bank has received nod from its shareholders to appoint current MD & CEO Uday Kotak as the non-executive, non-independent director of the bank after his tenure ends later this year.
Of the total shareholders of the bank, 99% of the shareholders voted in favour of the decision to appoint CEO Uday Kotak as the the non-executive, non-independent director of the bank, the bank said in a filing. The term of Uday Kotak will end in December 2023 this year.
