On Thursday, February 10, the Reserve Bank of India’s Monetary Policy Committee announced that the repo rates have been kept unchanged at 4% for the 10th consecutive time.
The RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das said that the committee voted unanimously 5:1 to maintain the “accommodative stance.” The reverse repo rate was also kept unchanged at 3.35%.
The Marginal Standing Facility rate & the bank rate also remain unchanged at 4.25%.
