Government announces Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) push for private sector

Progress So Far

  • Existing DPIs: A total of 16 cross-sectoral DPI solutions have been implemented and are available on the India Stack Global platform (https://www.indiastack.global).
  • ICDIA Establishment: The International Center for DPI Innovation and Advancements (ICDIA), a subsidiary of the National Institute of Smart Government (NISG), has been set up to oversee DPI application rollouts within India and abroad.
  • Localized Efforts: The India Stack Local portal (https://indiastacklocal.in) has been introduced to document and promote successful digital transformation projects at the state level, encouraging replication in other regions.
