The cryptocurrency market witnessed a broad-based decline in major tokens as of 8 AM today, with Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) trading lower, while select altcoins posted strong gains.

Bitcoin dropped 1.95% to $94,323.58, while Ethereum slid 2.50% to $1,795.70. Other leading tokens also faced pressure—Binance Coin (BNB) fell 2.07%, XRP declined 2.43%, and Solana (SOL) was down 1.58% at $144.75. Among the majors, Cardano (ADA) was the biggest loser, shedding 4.68%.

Despite the weakness in frontline tokens, the altcoin segment saw sharp upside in select names. NKN topped the gainer’s list with an 18.05% surge, followed by PARTI up 17.85% and SCRT rising 14.79%. Other notable gainers included STPT (+11.47%) and TURBO (+9.96%).

On the flip side, AVA led the losers with a steep 12.78% decline, followed by KDA (-9.87%), ENS (-9.40%), and BIO (-9.31%).

Market participants remain cautious amid global risk sentiment and await regulatory signals and macroeconomic data that could impact digital asset flows.
