Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and his wife Dhanashree Verma have reportedly filed for divorce, sparking a media frenzy. The couple was recently spotted at the Bandra Family Court, leading to speculation that their divorce proceedings are underway. However, amidst the reports, a shocking allegation emerged, claiming that Yuzvendra Chahal is paying an alimony of Rs 60 crore to Dhanashree Verma.
Setting the Record Straight
Dhanashree Verma’s family and lawyer have now reacted to the accusations, slamming the reports as baseless and misleading. Her advocate, Aditi Mohoni, stated, “The matter is currently sub judice. The media should fact-check before reporting, as a lot of misleading information is being circulated.” Dhanashree’s family, who wished to remain anonymous, expressed their outrage at the false claims, stating that no such amount has been asked, demanded, or offered to the choreographer. They urged the media to refrain from publishing such reports and spreading misinformation, emphasizing that it’s not right to involve not just the two parties but also their families in the controversy.
