Actor Ayush Sharma was spotted at Lilavati Hospital and Research Centre in Bandra after veteran screenwriter Salim Khan was admitted to the facility. The actor had reportedly come to meet his father-in-law, who is currently under medical care.
According to sources quoted by NDTV and PTI, the 90-year-old screenwriting legend was hospitalised on Tuesday morning and is presently in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Family members have been visiting him through the day.
Earlier, Salim Khan’s eldest son, superstar Salman Khan, was seen leaving the hospital after meeting his father. Salim Khan’s daughter Alvira Khan Agnihotri, son-in-law Atul Agnihotri, and grandson Ayaan Agnihotri also visited the veteran writer. Ayush Sharma, who is married to Salim Khan’s adopted daughter Arpita Khan, was photographed arriving at the hospital premises as well.
Salim Khan, one of Hindi cinema’s most celebrated writers, is best known for his iconic collaborations with Javed Akhtar. The legendary duo penned several landmark films including Sholay, Haathi Mere Saathi, Zanjeer, and Mr. India, shaping the golden era of Bollywood storytelling.
