Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan is gearing up to marry her longtime beau, Nupur Shikhare, on January 3. The gorgeous couple got engaged in November last year. As the wedding festivities begin, snippets of the preparations at Aamir’s Mumbai residence have surfaced online. In a viral video, two floors of the actor’s residence are seen lit up with lights.

Following their engagement, Ira and Nupur hosted an intimate party. Recently, Aamir and his ex-wife, Reena Dutta, were seen together while shopping for jewellery in the city as they prepared for their daughter’s upcoming wedding.
For the unversed, their wedding date was confirmed by Aamir Khan himself. Aamir Khan told News18, “Ira is getting married on January 3. The boy she has chosen is- waise toh pet name unka naam Popeye hai- he is a trainer, he has arms like Popeye, but his name is Nupur. He is a lovely boy.”
Workwise, Aamir’s last film Laal Singh Chaddha did not do well at the box office. The actor recently announced his production venture titled Lahore, 1947, starring Sunny Deol as the lead. The movie will be helmed by Rajkumar Santoshi, marking a reunion with Aamir Khan, who previously worked together on the iconic film, Andaz Apna Apna. He also revealed the title of his upcoming film, Sitaare Zameen Par. The film is a sports drama and is being helmed by Rs Prasanna.
