Indian television is currently showcasing a number of popular shows. All of them are competing for a spot in the list of the most liked shows. Ormax Media has released a list of the 10 most-liked Hindi TV programmes for the previous week (12th October-18th October).

The popular media publication judges the shows based on a series of parameters and compare them with similar existing programmes on-air. Through this method, they provide the shows with an Ormax True Value or an OTV Value. Higher value means the popularity of the show is more. The list has been topped by the well loved sitcom ‘Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah‘, with an OTV score of 74. The show is followed by ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ and then by ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’, which ranks second and third respectively. Surprisingly, fan favourite ‘Bigg Boss 14′ ranks the last.

It might come off as a surprise that Bigg Boss is ranking low on the list but the reason behind it is quite obvious. Industry analyst Girish Johar had recently told IANS that Bigg Boss 14 is falling weak in front the above mentioned shows and the Indian Premier League. The makers of the show are hoping to make a comeback with better twists and turns.
