In last night’s episode of Shark Tank India season 02 telecast on Sony Tv and its digital sister concern app, Sony Liv, Gear Head Motors pitched their electric bicycles and tricycles. In one charge these bicycles and tricycles can cover up to 60km, therefore, as claimed by one of the co-owners, these bi and tri cycles are best for short-distance travel.Their cost for one bicycle starts from INR 24K.
Their amusing pitch made the Sharks laughs out a lot. Vineeta Singh, asked them where they are from to which they replied that they’re from Hyderabad. This made her compliment their accent. Looking at their quirkiness after they did a little hook step of ‘yeh cheez badhi hai mast mast,’ post asking the Sharks to invest in their start-up, made Aman Gupta ask them, “aap log founders hi hain na? Yeh log bahar se… actors toh nahin laye na?” The owners laughed and replied in negative.
After taking a ride of one the bicycles, Peysush Bansal said, “yaar yeh na 10X bicycles pasand hai mereko, yeh 10X idea lag raha hai mere ko.” After a lot of questioning and suspicious answering Peyush Bansal and Aman Gupta decided to invest in Gear Head Motors. They cracked a deal of INR 1 crore for 6.67% equity with a valuation of 15 crores.
