Television actor Rrahul Sudhir, best known for playing the role of Vansh Raisinghania in Ishq Mein Marjawan 2, has been tested positive for the virus. He had developed mild symptoms after which he had gotten himself tested only to be declared positive. The actor has self-isolated himself and is in the home quarantine for now. Production on the serial has come to a halt for now.

Rrahul plays the antagonist in the show. The serial also features Helly Shah (Riddhima Vansh Raisinghania) and Vishal Vashishtha (Kabir Sharma). The romantic thriller began on 13th July 2020 after the lockdown was lifted. The show happens to be the spiritual sequel of the first season.

The production house, ‘Beyond Dreams Entertainment’ has issued an official statement confirming the same. The statement reads, “Actor Rrahul Sudhir has tested positive with mild symptoms and is receiving medical attention. As soon as symptoms were detected he has self quarantined as a precautionary measurer. We have taken all necessary steps including temporary suspension of production for testing of the entire cast and crew, fumigation, and sterilization of the studio as per the norms immediately.”

They further added, “Concerned authorities have been informed of the same. The safety of our talent and crew members is of utmost importance, we are fully committed to safeguarding everyone and have ensured that all measures prescribed by the authorities are being adhered to.”
