The director was seen talking about how it is not unusual for directors to host television shows. He named a few filmmakers such as Farah Khan, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Karan Johar and Sajid Khan, who have been a part of popular shows.
Rohit Shetty shared his excitement on joining the show. He expressed his love for action, thriller themes and wanting to try something new on silver screens. The director even talked about replacing Akshay and Priyanka. He appreciated their work and said that even he is not a misfit for the show. Shetty aims to bring a new perspective, which will not evolve controversies and altercations.
When asked about the prospective challenges of hosting a television show, Rohit said that there are equal obstacles in films as well. However, he expressed how with sheer amount of dedication and hardwork, success can be achieved.
