Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 12 has begun with more than ever-exciting audience and viewers from the last 20 years. It is the most popular quiz game of Indian Television Industry and is hosted by Amitabh Bachchan, popularly known as Big B, who is one of the most reputed personalities all over the globe. Owing to the current pandemic scenario, there is no live audience and the organizers have limited the number of crew members on the set in order to prevent anyone getting infected.
The game began with its forever fascinating Fastest Finger First, in which the participants have to answer quickly in order to get a chance to play with Big B on the Hot Seat. The first participant to win this year’s first-ever Fastest Finger First is Aarti Jagtap. She is 20-years-old and is from Indore. Currently pursuing engineering from Indore, she is planning to become an IAS officer.
As she took her seat in front of the host, Mr Amitabh Bachchan explained the rules of the game as well as introduced the new lifelines available for the participant. Talking about the lifelines, there is a new lifeline which is being introduced in this season and that is “Video a friend” through which the participant will be able to video call a friend whenever they are stuck on a question. Along with this new lifeline, there are some iconic lifelines such as 50-50 which deletes two wrong answers out of the four, Flip the question which changes the question, and Ask the expert, which allows the participant to ask for help from the expert. The expert for today’s episode is Vikas Swarup, who is the Spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs.
