Rumours have been surfacing lately that the leads of Ekta Kapoor’s Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Parth Samthaan and Erica Fernandes, are quitting the show. Parth Samthaan has decided to quit the show as he wants to focus on his other projects including a film, but the reason behind Erica Fernandes’ decision is not known yet. Parth played the role of Anurag Basu in the show while Erica was his Prerna. Rumours also suggested that the makers of the show have decided to replace Erica Fernandes by introducing Divyanka Tripathi to the show. But soon these rumors were cleared off.
Divyanka commented on these stories and clarified that they are mere rumours. Taking to her social media account, Divyanka put up a story that read, “DTD as Prerna in KZK? It’s a rumour! Just clearing the air for those who care.”
Apart from Parth and Erica, Spotboye also reported that Sahil Anand too has decided to quit the show. A source had stated that Parth and Sahil have informed their decisions to the producers and the makers are trying to convince the two to stay.
Kasautii Zindagii Kay has been on top of the TRP charts since long and the show has stayed in the news ever since the team resumed work post lockdown. Parth Samthaan was recently infected with Coronavirus and had to be put under quarantine to recover. Then Erica was shooting from her home for a few days. Kasautii Zindagii Kay also sees Aamna Sharif and Karan Patel in significant roles.
