The latest promo of Bigg Boss 19 has set social media abuzz with a fiery exchange between host Salman Khan and contestant Pranit More during the Weekend Ka Vaar episode.
Salman, addressing Pranit in front of the housemates, began by acknowledging his profession: “Pranit stand-up comedian,” to which Pranit confidently replied, “yes sir.” But the mood quickly turned serious as Salman called him out: “Mujhe pata hai ki aapne mujh pe kya-kya bola hai jo ki sahi nahi hai” (I know the things you’ve said about me that were not right).
Highlighting the thin line between humour and disrespect, Salman added: “Jokes jo aapne maare hain mere upar, agar aap meri jagah hote aur main aapki jagah hota, to aap kaise react karte?” (The jokes you cracked on me, if you were in my place and I in yours, how would you have reacted?).
While firmly putting his point across, Salman reminded Pranit that comedy should not cross boundaries: “Aapko logon ko hansana tha, mera naam use karke aapne wo kiya. I just don’t think you should go below the belt.”
