Bigg Boss OTT surely made waves since the day it went live on Voot. Everyone was guessing whether Karan Johar would prove an entertaining judge or not? But Karan handled critical situations carefully and often expressed his anger on contestants who crossed the line. This time again Karan was seen shouting at Zeeshan for making misogynistic comments about Bhojpuri actress and contestant, Akshara Singh. While involved in a fight with Akshara he said, “Ladki ho toh daayre mein raho (Being a girl stay within your limits)”. This was enough to make Karan furious at Zeeshan.
Confronting Karan blasted at Zeeshan and asked him to explain what he exactly means with his comment. Karan said, “Your justification is not worth buying at all. This is the most misogynistic remark I have heard recently and I have heard a lot of remarks coming out of a man’s mouth. Let me tell you, this remark of yours reeks of misogyny and chauvinism,” Replying to this Zeeshan defended himself by saying that he was misinterpreted.
We all know about Karan how much he feminist he is. For women’s rights, he has always made his voice stand out. Adding to his statement he said, “I am all about equality but at heart, I am a feminist. So when I hear these things, it really, really gets to me. I get very angry because men in this country are ‘entitlement ki dukaan’ and I don’t subscribe to that shop.”
Bigg Boss OTT is the first time Bigg Boss is streaming online, the show went live on 8th August 2021.
