Deepika Padukone’s manager Karishma Prakash leaves KWAN talent agency, severing her ties with the actor

Karishma Prakash, whose name came out during the Bollywood drug-nexus case has resigned from her post in KWAN talent agency. This has effectively severed her ties with Deepika Padukone.

During the investigation into the death of the actor Sushant Singh Rajput, a new angle of drugs came out. Soon it engulfed the whole investigation and all people could talk about was the industry and its drug usage. Many names came up during this case; including Deepika Padukone and her manager Karishma Prakash. Now, according to a report in Bombay Times, the manager has given her resignation to the talent agency.

Karishma Prakash and Deepika Padukone’s name came out after Rhea Chakraborty’s manager Jaya Saha’s alleged drug chats surfaced. There, the Piku actor was apparently asking for ‘maal’. The report states that the manager had put the letter of resignation on 21st October. It quoted a source saying that “Karishma is no longer working with the agency. She had tendered her resignation on October 21 with immediate effect. Her association with Deepika and few other actors was only as a KWAN employee. So naturally, those associations would also be severed.”
