Armaan Malik got evicted from the house along with Lovekesh Kataria. The elimination happened during the finale week. Armaan was ousted on the basis of less votes. In the show, Armaan revealed about his religion and said he is a Hindu.
During last Weekend Ka War, the house was graced by press reporters. Armaan was asked how he defined his relationship. To this he said that many assume he is a Muslim because of his name. But he is a Hindu and his real name is Sandeep Malik. He adopted Armaan Malik as his stage name around 14 years ago.
There have been speculations regarding Armaan’s religion. Because of his two marriages, people believe him to be a Muslim. The YouTuber was slammed on the show for promoting polygamy. While Kritika was accused of betraying her best friend Payal. A reporter even compared her to a daayan (witch).
A reporter asked Armaan, “Iss rishte ko kya naam de?” To this Armaan said, “Kuch rishte aise hote hai, jinka naam hi nahi hote.” He was continuously questioned by the media personnel. During one such question, he replied, “Rakha to dono ko hai na.” His reply wasn’t received well. The reporter corrected him and said they are not properties that you have kept.
Meanwhile, the finale for the season will be premiered on the 2nd of August. The top five finalists are Sana Makbul, Ranvir Shorey, Naezy, Kritika Malik and Sai Ketan Rao.
