In a serious moment during the latest Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Salman Khan pulled up both Neelam and Farrhana for their use of derogatory language toward each other during a heated argument in the house. The exchange not only crossed personal lines but also touched on sensitive cultural undertones.
Salman first addressed Farrhana, questioning her for calling Neelam “Bhojpuri staff”. He asked her directly, “Aapne Neelam ko kaha ‘Bhojpuri staff’… kehna kya chahti thi aap?”
Farrhana attempted to explain her reasoning behind the comment. She said, “Jis tarah se Shehbaz mujhe bol raha tha, vo saari Neelam karti hai Shehbaz ke liye, toh main ussi lehaz se usko address kar rahi thi.”
However, Salman was not convinced and called out the problematic nature of her wording. He asked, “Why are you targeting one region?”, and went on to stress that “Stuff that is not even to be said in private is being said by you on national television.”
Pushing further, Salman asked Farrhana how she would react if a particular community felt offended by her statement. Farrhana responded, “Toh community se I would want to say sorry, agar unhe laga ki ye disrespectful tha. But agar Neelam ke perspective se baat kare, jaisa maine usko staff bola, toh uske picche mera nazariya alag tha.”
While Farrhana attempted to clarify her intent, Salman made it clear that intent does not justify impact, especially when spoken in such a public and sensitive space.
Though the episode highlighted multiple tensions within the house, this moment stood out as a firm reminder from Salman that cultural insensitivity and personal jibes have no place in the Bigg Boss house, and that words spoken in anger can have far-reaching consequences beyond the walls of the show.
