This Weekend Ka Vaar turned into another tense showdown as Salman Khan took Abhishek Bajaj and Ashnoor Kaur to task for showing ingratitude toward Mridul Tiwari, the very contestant who had saved them from nomination.
Salman began the segment by reminding everyone that Mridul, as captain, had used his power to protect Abhishek and Ashnoor — a decision that eventually backfired and brought him under scrutiny. However, instead of supporting him, the duo appeared indifferent to his struggles during the week.
In their defense, Abhishek and Ashnoor explained that they had offered to help Mridul with house duties if any contestant gave up theirs. But Salman was not convinced, recalling a specific incident that contradicted their claim.
He pointed out the moment when Mridul was washing utensils, visibly struggling, and Malti had asked Abhishek and Ashnoor to assist him. According to Salman, the two had casually replied, “Usko zarurat hogi toh bulayega, aur tab hum jaayenge.”
At this, Malti immediately agreed with Salman, confirming that she had witnessed the exchange herself. Salman then questioned their sense of loyalty and gratitude, emphasizing that a friend in need shouldn’t have to ask for help.
Despite the criticism, Abhishek and Ashnoor continued to defend themselves. Ashnoor explained that it was actually Gaurav who had advised them to stay inside the bathroom area until things cooled down outside, suggesting that their lack of help wasn’t intentional.
Trying to justify their actions further, Abhishek and Ashnoor reminded Salman that they did eventually wash utensils for Mridul, insisting that they did not ignore him completely.
