The Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss 19 turned into an impromptu music launch when host Salman Khan asked contestant Amaal Mallik if he had composed anything new inside the house. Without hesitation, the singer-composer began singing, “Yuh toh kuchh bhi kami nahi tere bin, zindagi bas zindagi nahi tere bin, tere bin.”
The soulful lines immediately caught Salman’s attention. In a light-hearted but impactful moment, Salman quipped, “This song is mine now,” jokingly sealing the tune for himself and, in the process, giving Amaal what fans are already calling “another contract.” The playful exchange left the housemates cheering and viewers buzzing on social media.
Amaal Mallik on joining Bigg Boss 19
Amaal Mallik, known for chartbusters in films like Jai Ho, Khoobsurat, Hero, Baaghi, Kapoor & Sons, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, Kabir Singh, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, entered the Bigg Boss 19 house with a different mission. Speaking before his entry, he shared, “I was very excited to say yes to this show. It’s been almost 10 years for me in the industry, and I feel people have often misunderstood me when I’ve spoken about the industry’s reality.”
He explained that he doesn’t let setbacks affect him: “Whenever I am removed from films or I don’t feel the right vibe, I take a backseat. When 2-3 producers fire me from big films, I happily go on a holiday, and I don’t take these things to heart.”
Amaal also revealed that beyond music, one of his reasons for entering Bigg Boss 19 was recognition. “I want the people who have loved my music for the past 10 years to know the person behind it. People should recognize that it’s Amaal Mallik — not Armaan Mallik or Aditya Roy Kapur.”
With Salman Khan already “claiming” his in-house composition, fans are now curious whether Amaal’s stint in Bigg Boss 19 will mark the beginning of new collaborations — and perhaps, new hit songs.
