In a recent episode of Bigg Boss 19, Kunickaa Sadanand referred to fellow contestant Malti Chahar as a “lesbian,” sparking a wave of backlash on social media.
The incident occurred when Kunickaa was speaking quietly to Tanya Mittal in the bedroom. She said she was “fully sure” that Malti was a lesbian, adding that Malti’s posture “looked like that” and that she had observed certain behaviours from her in the house.
Viewers were quick to express outrage. Many accused Kunickaa of using sexuality as an insult, arguing that it was unacceptable to make such declarations on national television without basis.
One user on social media wrote, “On what grounds did they even label Malti Chahar a ‘lesbian’? They’re weaponizing the term as an insult.” Another added, “They are using this word as a derogatory word. Are they even in their senses? NOT COOL … THIS SHOULD BE CALLED OUT.”
This is really ridiculous . Shame on you #KunickaaSadanand Aunty .. I’m not a fan of malti & I don’t care who she is @ColorsTV @BiggBoss think about her reputation not only her,her brother’s reputation.

Malti was wrong when she asked about Baseer's sexuality on national tv and the issue was not even addressed on WKW, but that doesn't mean what Kunika said about Malti in today's episode was right. On national television, she is telling with conviction that Malti is a lesbian.…

Kunickaa’s comment came shortly after a task that had already caused tension between Malti and Tanya, as well as with Farrhana Bhatt over responsibility and communication in the house.
