The latest Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss 19 saw host Salman Khan calling out Abhishek Bajaj for making inappropriate and insensitive remarks about fellow contestant Amaal Mallik.
Salman addressed Abhishek directly, questioning his choice of words during an earlier conversation in the house.
“‘Talab… talab lag rahi hai’, iska matlab kya hai? ‘Ye sota rehta hai, ye depression mein rehta hai’, iska matlab kya hai?” The host’s tone made it clear that such comments were both disrespectful and dismissive of mental health struggles.
When Kunickaa Sadanand tried to jump in to defend Abhishek, Salman didn’t hold back. He reminded her that she too had made a similar comment about Amaal. Kunickaa seemed surprised and unsure about what she may have said, but several housemates affirmed that she had, indeed, made such a statement.
Salman confirmed this and pointedly told her, “Selective memory hai aapki.”
Continuing his questioning, Salman asked Abhishek why he had used such language in the first place. Abhishek responded, “Main I think… Awez gaya tha toh main thoda sa emotionally volatile tha.”
Amaal, calmly but firmly, responded, “Emotionally volatile bohot cheeze ho jati hai, but volatile hum bhi ho sakte hai.”
Zeishan then added a sharp warning, backing Amaal and indirectly calling out Abhishek’s double standards. “Awez chala gaya, Amaal yahi hai. Hum log emotional ho gaye toh tum jhel nahi paaoge.”
The segment underlined a growing tension in the house and Salman’s firm stance on accountability, especially when it comes to careless comments that cross the line — particularly those that touch upon sensitive issues like mental health.
