The Bigg Boss 19 media round took an unexpectedly emotional turn when a reporter raised a deeply personal question about Gaurav’s married life, leaving both contestants and media stunned. The journalist referenced a conversation involving Gaurav’s wife and their differing views on having children. Addressing him directly, the reporter said, “Aapki wife ko kids nahi chahiye, but jab astrologer vaapis ghar mein aayi thi, toh aapne sawaal uthaya… wo bhot calculative move than sympathy card khelne ka.”
Before Gaurav could respond, fellow contestant Amaal immediately intervened, questioning the appropriateness of such a personal remark. Still, Gaurav chose to address the matter, visibly emotional as he began explaining his side.
He stated, “I wanted kids when I got married, but my wife, due to certain reasons did not want kids. Toh aaj ke zamaane mein bade kam aise mard hai jo apni biwi se itna pyaar karte hai, ki voh apne dil ki choice ko maar sake. Main emotional ho raha hu. This is a very touchy…(sic).” Gaurav then paused, choking up mid-sentence as emotions overwhelmed him.
Seeing his distress, Amaal stepped in again, saying firmly, “Not a nice question to ask.” He then advised Gaurav to relax, but Gaurav insisted he would still answer. Amaal pushed back, saying, “Not fair, there were thousand things to ask. That was little below the belt.”
Ultimately, Gaurav chose not to elaborate further. Composing himself, he ended the matter with a simple but heartfelt declaration: “I love my wife.”
The moment has since become one of the most talked-about segments of the press conference, raising discussions about boundaries, sensitivity, and the ethics of questioning during reality-show media rounds.
