Tensions ran high in the Bigg Boss 19 house during this week’s Weekend Ka Vaar episode as contestant Tanya Mittal brought forth a serious complaint against fellow housemate Kunickaa Sadanand, accusing her of making derogatory remarks not just about her, but also about her mother.

According to Tanya, Kunickaa referred to her using demeaning terms like “anpad” and “gawar” (illiterate and unrefined), and also made a hurtful comment involving her mother. Tanya Mittal said that Kunickaa did not stop at commenting on her upbringing by her mother, but also called her ‘anpad, gawar’.

The accusation led to a tense moment in the house. Kunickaa attempted to defend herself by claiming her remarks were meant as a joke. However, guest host Farah Khan firmly rejected the justification.

She addressed Kunickaa’s comments with clarity and seriousness, saying, “These were not jokes. Being illiterate is not an individual’s fault, it is often due to their circumstances.”

Her statement drew attention to the insensitivity of mocking someone’s background or education, highlighting that such remarks can be deeply personal and classist in nature.
