
The 16th and current running season of the most controversial and notorious reality television show of the country, Bigg Boss is in deep soup after the National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC) slapped it with a notice over a casteist remark made by one of the two wild-card contestants, Vikas Manaktala.
Asian News International (ANI) took to their Twitter handle to inform the news story of Bigg Boss season 16 and Vikkas Manaktala being in a lot of trouble after the latter commented, “neech jati ke log,” to another notorious contestant, Archana Gautam.
ANI’s tweet read, “National Commission for Scheduled Castes issued notice to Mumbai CP, Viacom 18 Media Pvt Ltd, Endemol India Pvt Ltd &others after a Bigg Boss contestant Vikas Manaktala called another contestant Archana Gautam “Neech jati ke log” which is offence punishable under SC/ ST act: NCSC.”
