This Extraa masala snippet begins with Gautam and Soundarya are seen having an appetizing meal together. Wherein they both call each other by their full name in a joking manner.
This is when Soundarya put the question in front of the actor. She asks, “So, what made your parents keep your name Gautam?”
He replies by saying that he has no idea but then explains in detail the events that led to his parents choosing this name. He explains that initially, his mother wanted to name him Sahil but that went out of the window after they got the letter ‘G’ in the naming rituals. Gautam then shares that his parents had to pick between Gaurav and Gautam. He also reasoned that there aren’t many names to choose from that begin with the letter ‘G’. He shared, ” Toh Gaurav mere cousin ka name tha so they picked Gautam. As a secondary name.” Hearing his origin story, Soundarya replied by saying that she felt this will be a story. Their conversation ends with them munching on their meal abruptly.
