Bigg Boss season 16 is getting mixed reviews. But this season has proved that if the contestants are popular in the outside world, no matter what they do, or do not do at all, the audience will make sure to vote for them and make them stay come what may. Similar is the fate of Ankit Gupta, an actor who rose in immense fame from his Colors Tv show, ‘Udaariyaan.’ He is generally a quiet person, but Bigg Boss house is not for someone who doesn’t think putting across their opinion is not important. Ankit has made it very clear that he speaks less, but the little attention that he gets is because of Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, his former co-star in ‘Udaariyaan’ and his best friend cum speculated girlfriend too. And he’s also seen because of his polite behaviour with the other housemates. So, he’s lucky to be in Bigg Boss 16, where he’s getting support from housemates, Priyanka and his fans outside the house. Last year’s Raqesh Bapat, who too didn’t talk too much or open up too much did not get as much love from the audience on his own accord but because he and Shamita Shetty fell in love inside the house.
Now, even though Ankit is not speaking a lot, one of the ‘Unseen Undekha’ clips from Voot has been doing rounds in social media, where Ankit is seen flirting with Shalin Bhanot. Ankit is bantering that a girl only makes a boy feel jealous if there’s something going on between the two. Shalin retorts that by that logic Priyanka has something for him (Shalin) since she’s trying to make Shalin feel jealous?
When this banter moves further, Tina Datta prompts that both of them have two buttons opened for each other to which Ankit quips, “button se button milayein?” This cracks everyone up and they all burst laughing.
